Common Procedures:
Procedure shall be in accordance with the chronological Procedure and
rules promulgated by the International Chamber of Commerce, for Sale and
Purchase of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products.
Specifications: Specifications can be provided for every product listed
above on request. Basic Procedures for Products being sold on a Cost &
Freight Basis:
a) Buyer confirms soft offer
and issues an ICPO and BCL with right for soft probe.
b) Seller issues FCO of which buyer endorses and
returns.
c) Seller issues draft contract open
for amendments.
d) Both parties confirm draft
Contract by endorsing it.
e) Seller & Buyer
subsidizes the registry and endorsement of imminent deal documents
including soft (POP)
f) Both parties lodge
contracts in respective banks, Buyer’s Bank send Pre -Advice to Sellers
Bank to kick start the bank to bank process.
g) Seller appoints and signs charter party agreement with the vessel
shipping company and finalize the procurement of the marine Insurance
policy.
h) Buyer's Bank and seller’s bank
finalize the bank to bank process.
i) Buyer's
bank makes payment as per the signed contract.
j) Delivery commence as scheduled.
