I am a fourth year student reading for a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy at the University of Malta. My thesis has to do with the production of sterile intravenous fluids, and seeing that Malta imports all of its intravenous fluids rather than producing them locally, I am trying to see whether it would be more feasible to set up a local manufacturing plant. If the results are encouraging, I have no doubt that there would be an investor seriously considering this option.

I would greatly appreciate any help which could be given as regards to the type of plants available and their costs, and how they work.
