Dear Sir or Madam,

After finding your website, I am writing to introduce our new water clarification product called Baraclear™ P80. M² Polymer Technologies is hopeful that this introduction is timed well with planning for your 2002 product needs and your 2003 Product Catalog. Baraclear™ P80 is a safe, effective, patent-pending water treatment product offering for the golf course pond and decorative pond markets.

It efficiently clarifies water and removes ortho-phosphates. Data regarding the use and effectiveness of this new technology can be viewed at our website:

www.baraclear.com

M²PT is seeking distributors in the US for the golf pond and decorative pond markets and would be delighted to work with you on this opportunity.

I wish to encourage you to try one or two 50 lbs buckets as a sample for your field and laboratory testing. The cost of one 50 lbs. bucket delivered to your office will be $125 per bucket. Obviously, the price is significantly reduced at commercial volumes and be assured that M²PT is committed to delivering strong margins to our distributors in these markets where we believe you will be able to sell the product and service at $2.00 - $2.50/lbs.

This scale of pilot testing would enable you to immediately use a field scale trial on with the material, evaluate the packaging, and evaluate M²PT’s technical support for you as it relates to dosage and application.

Below are my contact details. Please return yours for future communications. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or interest in Baraclear™ P80.

Thank you for your interest in M² Polymer Technologies, Inc.

Regards,

Martin Matushek

Scott,

Chemical management performs well for short term situations. If you want to eliminate a particular species of invasive plants, for instance, they work well. They are not a permanent solution for vegetation management however since they do not eliminate the nutrient base in the water that allows the weeds to return. In reality a large number of ponds use chemicals for long-term management because the ponds and lakes were poorly designed. You can think of chemical management as mowing the lawn. It cuts the weeds back for now, but they will be back and usually stronger than before. Take a look through our site for more information: ponds
