J. Bloise--
Novermber 24,
2002, I responded to your ad. I did ask some probing questions that I
felt I was entitled to ask if I was going to invest ($24.95)in this
telecommute-data entry position.
YOU NEVER
RESPONED. A serious applicant would ask questions I did (You Know That)
and a serious, legitimate, competent, professional company would, without
hesitation, respond and provide legitimate information that could be
researched and found truthful.
The second time I
e-mailed you under the subject, 'serious applicant'. You did not
hesitate to send information, but the information was vague and still
did not answer my questions to my satisfaction. THIS IN ITSELF IS
INTERESTING!!! Not to mention suspicious!
I know
enough to know that legitimate work-at-home companies do not charge ANY
kind of fee. In fact, as a 'business owner' yourself you should know
that it cost money to recruit employees or independant contractors and
that any loss you sustain is a tax write off. Most companies and
corporations take risks when hiring new people knowing that there is
ALWAYS a risk that after investing so much time and money in an
individual they may not work out, but that's the risk they take! In
addition, as an independant contractor, if the fee of $24.95 is to help
pay for the materials and/or 'prove how serious we are as applicants',
it should be disclosed that the amount we've spent is a tax benefit to
us as well .
Further, you need to provid a
contact name, address, and phone number where you can be reached for
questioning--not just the alias J. Bloise. In other words, you need to
be straight-forward with people if you want to be convincing. After all,
wouldn't you want the same service if you were asked to invest or spend
any amount of your hard earned/hard to come by money into something you
know very little about? That's what educated people do. That's who you'd
want working for you, if your company is real.
