Equipment Sector of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, the Flagship Company of
the Mahindra Group, India. Currently, the fourth largest tractor
manufacturers in the world, we are the market leaders since 1983 in the

The Farm
Equipment Sector originated as a joint venture between M and the
International Harvester Inc. of USA in 1963. Capitalizing on its
strengths in engineering and manufacturing it started with the popular
B-series models of IH. With over a million tractors produced till date,
the division currently rolls out over 85,000 tractors annually from its
two ISO-9001 certified manufacturing facilities. The division's facility
in Mumbai is today the single largest facility of its kind in the world.
The plant at Nagpur, which is QS-9000-certified also, produces hydraulic
units and various agricultural implements, apart from tractors. M
currently holds a 31% market share in the domestic market with sales of
79,293 units in F2001.
Besides India, the high
performance, low horsepower versatile tractors from Mahindra are popular
in ten countries including the US of A. Based in Tomball, Texas, M’s
subsidiary company, Mahindra USA offers a range of models in 2WD and 4WD
versions that comply with the U.S. EPA standards.
Stemming from our technological collaborations
with International Harvester, we at M are capable of producing a range
of engines and spares for the older models such as IH: B250, B275, B414,
B444 and even more. Currently, we are the preferred supplier of spares
of Case IH and Zetor models to clients such as Case France, Case
Manitou, distributors in Turkey, Greece, Zimbabwe, Nepal, Bangladesh,
Sri Lanka, etc.

manufacturing engines and spares as per OEM’s design specifications,
