Dear Sir,
If you stil search for sugar we can offer you
the follow prices but only for payment by BG or BSLC, transferable at
sight 100%. These are
example prices to give you some idea for August, 2008. Prices are
CIF (cost, insurance and freight included) from
Brazil to Any Safe World Port:
12.500 metric tons x 12
months (total: 150.000 MT): $320 USD / MT CIF ASWP
25.000 metric tons x 12 months (total: 300.000
MT): $290 USD / MT CIF ASWP 50.000 metric tons x
12 months (total: 600.000 MT): $270 USD / MT CIF ASWP
100.000 metric tons x 12
months (total: 1.200.000 MT): $225 USD / MT CIF
ASWP 300.000 metric tons x 12 months (total:
3.600.000 MT): $215 USD / MT CIF ASWP
500.000 metric tons x 12 months (total:
6.000.000 MT): $205 USD / MT CIF ASWP
5.000.000 metric tons
(one time order, split into 17 months): $200 USD / MT
CIF ASWP 20.000.000
metric tons (one time order, split into multiple monthly
deliveries over six years): $180 / MT CIF ASWP
20 Million MT to 30.000.000 metric tons (one
time order, split into multiple monthly
deliveries over six years): $178 / MT CIF ASWP
Prices for one time orders (called “spot”
orders) are generally higher, When the buyer
commits to a longer term order, the price can be adjusted to the
total quantity and is thus lower. Prices also
heavily depend on the payment instruments and
type of guarantee this offers to the seller.
Spot orders: 12.500
metric tons - $375 USD / MT CIF ASWP (spot order)
25.000 metric tons - $365 USD / MT CIF ASWP
(spot order) 50.000 metric tons - $360 USD / MT
CIF ASWP (spot order)
There are two things we have to consider when quoting the price:
a) Are we talking about the sugar in bags or
loose sugar (bulk) b) How many months worth of
shipments can the buyer guarantee for with a
SBLC (stand by letter of credit) or BG (Bank guarantee). The more
months, the better the price. BG is a stronger
instrument than SBLC (but both are acceptable).
If any interest let us know.
Best regards,Onofrei Mihai!
