PROCEDURES
PRIMARY DOCUMENTATION: LOI/ICPO + BCL BY SWIFT
FROM BANK TO BANK
1) Buyer issues LOI (END BUYER
ONLY) with SOFT PROBE AUTHORIZATION not older than FIVE DAYS + BCL
2) Buyer receives the FCO SIGNS & SEALS and
returns to Seller.
3) Buyer receives the Draft
Contract adjusted to his needs, SIGNS & SEALS and returns it;
4) Seller returns the contractby exchanging it
by facsimile or email attachment, duly signed and sealed.The Draft copy
will be deemed legal until Hard Copies Exchanged. This will not delay
the Buyer in issuing the LETTER OF CREDIT.
5)
Buyer will issue to Seller's bank the NON - OPERATIVE LETTER OF CREDIT
aor ADVISE OF LC or MT 799;
6) Within 5 banking
days of receiving the NON - OPERATIVE LETTER OF CREDIT the Seller's bank
will post 2% OPERATIVE PERFORMANCE BOND GUARANTEE which will activate
the Buyer's LETTER OF CREDIT;
7) Within 30 days
after PBG, the merchant will be in the port of load to be inspected by
SGS or equivalent at buyer´s choice and at seller´s expenses;
8) After inspection, merchant will be loaded and
payment is done after shipment against shipping documents.
