SPECIFICATIONS:
Steel Scrap defined as HMS 1&2 in 80:20 mix under
IRSI codes 200
through
206.
Non-Metal impurities
total 0.1% or less - no radiation.
High Carbon
steel is not included in this scrap.
The scrap
consists out of a mix of mill scrap (stampings,
cuttings, bars,
etc.),
industrial scrap (nuts, bolts, misc. pieces, etc.), auto
and truck
frames and
bodies, railroad scrap (wheels, axles, parts of
locomotives and
carriages,
etc.), ship scrap (fittings place pieces, parts)
construction
scrap
(plates, bars, angle pieces, rods, steel pipe, etc.), and
miscellaneous commercial scrap (appliance
casings, frames and
parts, etc.).
HMS 1 and HMS 2 are free of alloys as per ISRI
Standards and
mainly
structure, plate, bar etc. Free of machinery
(lathes, whole set
of machines
tools, motors, casting iron, etc.) not including
electrical
parts and
visible-copper scrap and also free of cements,
woods, and rubber
etc., also
sealed vessel, explosive material, rusty scrap
etc.
The goods are free from sealed gas cylinders
and other sealed
containers,
explosive shells, bombs and inflammable material,
pig iron, and
electrical
motor. Dirt, dust and impurities are not more
than 0.5% of total
weight.
HMS 1 and HMS 2 are totally free of radioactive
contamination
and poisonous
materials.
HMS 1/2 - IRSI
Code: HMS 1 - ISRI Code 200: Heavy melting steel.
Wrought
iron and or steel
scrap 1/4 inch over in thickness. Individual
pieces not

The material will be a random length consisting

maximum 12 meters in length, according to the
Capacity of the
Ship.
Different sizes of rail can be accommodated.
Non-metal impurities total 0.3%.
No Radiation.
'DEFECTIVE
MATERIAL OF SCRAP RAILS'.
The material will be a
random length consisting of minimum of 3
meters
and
maximum 12 meters in length, according to the
Capacity of the
Ship.
Different sizes of rail can be accommodated; will
be clean scrap
without
slag, dross, trash, wood, plastic, alloy,
prohibited goods,
whole sets of
machine and useable parts for machines, cast
iron, motor tuning
blocks,
engine blocks, war and explosive or armour plated
materials,
excessive rust,
corrosion, dirt, mud or wastes and maximum
harmless impurities
will be less
that 0.1%.
The USED RAILS
will be free from toxic chemicals, radioactive
materials,
inflammables,
explosives, organic matters originated from
animals or plants
with
danger of epidemic diseases and medical waste, bombs, arms,
ammunition,
mines, shell
cartridges, sealed containers, gas cylinder,
explosive shells
or
explosive materials in any form. The scrap Metal will be
totally free
from
admixtures such as lubricants, grease, rubber, plastics,
asphalts and
other
impurities and non-metals.
