From reading this message board, it appears that
there is little in the way of available Crab Fishing Jobs. But, As a
hard working professional I am very interested in working the deck of a
Crabbing Vessel for the 2006 winter season. Even if all jobs have been
filled for this season, I would still like information for next season.
I Did alot of research on this one. If you want
to work on a crabbing boat as a deck hand. You must go to Dutch Harbour
AK. (In december). Trying to get a position now is kinda impossible.
It is not that easy. There are organization out
there that will take your money and promising these job. If you do go
remeber this. GOOD ships will never have a shortage of workers .... bad
ships will. BECAREFUL
