I used to Pack seafood orders and Cut fish at
Black River Produce's Seafood Department from July 17, 2003 until I quit
October 28, 2005 and returned to a truck driving career. I miss that
job, and I still feel I can thrive in the environment; I was good at
what I did and was a team player. The economy isn't in demand in the
area where I used to work when I lived in Vermont, and even here in
South Carolina where I currently reside. I have pondered the possibility
in Alaska fish jobs, and have "googled" many times unsuccessfully trying
to find a lead, job-lead, or orientation session with a potential job
lead. My sister lives in Boston, and she has asked around the docks and
has not come up with any leads for me. Please give me feedback as to
where I should go to find a job cutting fish. I used to cut Salmon,
(king, farm raised and wild coho and sakeye),tuna, halibut, swordfish,
Mahi, etc. I used to work in Vermont at Black River Produce in the
Seafood Department, but right now their isn't a full time job there,
only a part time job assisting the crew. I want to smell like a fish
again. lol please send me advise or direction so I can get one with the
fish. Thank you for assistance to this matter. |
