Candidate will be responsible for fish procurement, consumables and packing material procurement and marketing support. His duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following:  
 
• Collecting and collating fish landing data in Oman and nearby countries  
• Analyzing procurement opportunities  
• Measuring and forecasting fish availability  
• Obtaining information on market prices and trends  
• Competitor analysis  
• Pricing strategy  
• Preparing procurement strategy and procurement plan  
• Planning and budgeting procurement activity  
• Identifying target areas  
• Performance targets  
 
 
Experience:  
At least 5 years in the fishing sector in Oman responsible for fish procurement/ knowledge of licensing of fishing activity and knowledge of fishing activity and fishermen. Arabic and English speaking are essential.  
 
 
Qualifications:  
 
Procurement knowledge required. Computer literate.  
 
 
Reporting:  
 
Will report to the Commercial manager. Will be part of the management committee.
